  1. Didn’t know the Eagles did this.

    Congrats to coach Fairlie!

For those who don’t know, Fairlie is a great athlete is his own right.

Won 14 varsity letters (I think) in 4 sports at Marple, played football and lacrosse at West Chester Univ., played professional lacrosse and I think he might still play as he is barely 30 years old.

  2. And, of course, an All-Delco lacrosse player.

Todd was an All-America at Widener.

He’s my age. We graduated high school the same year (2002).

  3. Crazy good athlete in high school and beyond. Andy he really knows how to get the most out of his guys, looked up his little letter to parents and players and he really seems like a great individual. Great intentions for your program and with him at the helm EA is going to stay as an Inter Ac power without a doubt. Would totally love to see him on O’Hara’s sideline. Arguably the best coach in the area.

  4. A good coach is key to any football team on a level, and EA is very fortunate to have a great one.

Also, EA jumps to #9 in the Inquirer SE PA Top 25 by Rick O’Brien – right in the range I predicted they would be if they went undefeated. I see Coatesville at #4, MP beat Coatesville and EA hammered MP, so I think it is safe to say EA can play with anyone in SE PA – though I think SJP and LS with their dominant lines are the cream of the crop.

Ridley goes to #11 in what I know is a disappointment to the Ridley supporters, Interboro goes from unranked to #16 (and can still move up with a win over #11 WCH) and AP stays in at #25.

Congrats to those Delco teams – and all Delco teams who gave it their all this year regardless of their record.
