1. Eddie Durkin, QB, Haverford: Six touchdown passes, 244 yards and no interceptions over the last two weeks. Durkin has completed 15 of 17 passes.
2. Quinn Hager, K/WR, Episcopal Academy: Has made all 14 extra-point kicks the last two weeks. Also had five catches for 68 yards and a TD last week.
3. Matt Galambos, HB/TE/LB, Haverford School: Move to the backfield has paid dividends. He has 231 yards in two games. Also had an interception and led the team in tackles last game.
4.Nii Kotei Nikoi, QB, Upper Darby: Nikoi has always had that “well, what if he just puts it all together” thing about him. He sure looked good against Springfield, completing 16 of 24 passes for a career-high 217 yards and three TDs.
5. Shane Dougherty, FB/,LB, Ridley: Dougherty was the man in the middle swallowing up Strath Haven’s rushing game. The All-Delco remains one of the top LBs in the county.

Interboro’s Rashon Fentress has been a two-way force for the Bucs, who’ve won two straight games.
Others: Jake Irving (Garnet Valley), Ryan Corkery (Garnet Valley), Steve Fitzgerald (Haverford School), Chris Morgan (Haverford School), Rashon Fentress (Interboro), Sonny Armstrong (Interboro), Nick Rentos (Interboro), Mike Dougherty (Springfield), Adam Strouss (Episcopal Academy), Tyler Street (Academy Park), Justin Vendetti (Upper Darby), Kevin Trusty (Penncrest), Darren Washington (Ridley), Thaddius Smith (Cardinal O’Hara), Joe DeMaio (Cardinal O’Hara), Dashawn Darden (Cardinal O’Hara),
Galambos from HS committed to Pitt.
He’s 6’2, 225 and they have been using him as a power back. Tough to stop, and an even better linebacker.
I think HS now has its legs as a team and the Inter-Ac is between HS, Malvern and EA. Once league play comes along, EA will be very well scouted and won’t be able to sneak up on anybody. I don’t think opponents expected much from EA so far this season, they have a new offense so they have been tough to scout early on, but it all changes with league play.
Final game of EA v. HS at HS may decide it – and they are arch rivals.
Yep, he committed to Pitt right before the season.
Probably the best player in the county. He’s scary.
Inter-ac is gonna be a dog fight. HS. EA Malvern and Penn Charter are all in the running. I know Interboro just beat up PC but they are still good. I agree Galombus is best player in delco. Should be fun
You bet. Galambos is a monster. Pleasure to watch.
Galambos is best lb, but EA.s linebacker group tops the others in that league.
I was very impressed with Ea’s LB group. Having not seen Malvern, I can’t agree or disagree with your assessment.
