  1. No beef with Interboro being dropped out after Friday night, but for Springfield who they beat just 7 days prior, I don’t know if that fits.

Also, page 66 of today’s Daily Times says that Academy Park defeated Interboro during Week 1, they have not played yet this season, and furthermore, they have not beaten Interboro in nearly two decades, let alone this year.

    • Springfield rallying 20 points down late in the third quarter showed a lot. You can make a case they are ranked too high, maybe, but a Super 7 spot is certainly deserved. A lot of talent there.

Honest mistake by Terry Toohey. We apologize.

      • I know it was an honest mistake, just busting stones with the AP-Interboro stuff, I have always enjoyed Terry Toohey’s work.

I do think that head-to-head should mean more for Super 7 Rankings, though, vis-a-vis Interboro and Springfield.

      • I see your point.
The Super 7, though, is based on both weekly performance and “overall body of work,” so to speak. I agree that head-to-head results mean a lot, but I couldn’t justify keeping Interboro in this week after such a poor loss.

  2. Interboro got bumped this week. Let’s not forget Stathaven’s whipping the week before only to bounce back and win in week 2. Interboro, by no means is out of the divison hunt. Way too many weapons for that. We’ll see if they turn it around this week and put last weeks game behind them.

      • I’m a supporter of delco football and not one team in particular. I hold no biases. Yes, AP is my alma mater (I was in Vosheski’s first class!), but I’m not a fan/supporter of one particular team. And I don’t hate Interboro.
Just wanted to make that clear. Again.
