Friday’s defeat the worst in Strath Haven history

Strath Haven found out the hard way why many so-called experts believe Imhotep Charter is a  top-10 program in the state regardless of PIAA classification.

Going by margin of victory, the 68-12 defeat is the worst in the program’s storied history, which goes back to 1983, when Swarthmore High School and Nether Providence High School merged and Strath Haven was formed.

Special thanks to Strath Haven historian Mike Mayer from havenfootball.net for providing this information.
