Upper Darby will play host to Comcast Network’s featured high school football game of the week Friday, Oct. 5. The Royals host Inter-Ac League contender Malvern Prep at 7 p.m.

If you’re wondering why Comcast chose to air this particular game and not, say, Ridley-Garnet Valley or Interboro-Glen Mills, keep in mind that many schools have strict media restrictions when it comes to video recording.

Regardless, it’s good exposure for Upper Darby.
