O’Hara’s Cervella named to Chesapeake Bowl

Carmen Cervella’s stock as a dominant two-way lineman continues to rise.

The 6-2 senior was named to the 2012 Chesapeake Bowl today. Carmen’s mom announced the good news via Twitter.

Cervella is one of only two seniors projected to start for Danny Algeo’s Lions this year. Cervella has the make up to be an outstanding offensive tackle at the next level.

Cervella is getting interest from several Division I and II programs, including
Temple, Delaware, Towson, West Chester, Bloomsburg, Shippensburg, Millersville, Widener, Lycoming.

“I am down to 285 pounds. I worked out very hard this offseason to get into the best shape for this year,” Cervella said. “I am very excited and proud to be a part of the Chesapeake Bowl, but my main focus is the O’Hara Lions.”

There will be plenty more on Cervella and O’Hara in Thursday’s edition of the Daily Times.
