From a Times contributor:
Chichester scored three touchdowns and did not allow any in its football scrimmage against visiting Pequea Valley Saturday morning at Anthony Apichella Memorial Field.
The first TD came on 9-yard pass from Duffy Gilhool to Vienale Byrd during 10-play series early in scrimmage (each team got 10 consecutive plays; no chains for down-distance).
Gilhool also threw TD passes to Byrd and Tamien Jackson (both more than 30 yards) during game situations (down-and-distance) part of scrimmage.
NOTES: Byrd also had an interception in the end zone to stop a Pequea Valley drive…Corbyn Nyemah made a great one-handed catch over the middle on offense and had a number of good hits defensively…Gilhool also made several blocks hustling downfield to help ball carriers and/or receivers; one came a little late and drew a 15-yard penalty, a rare but not unusual call on QB… Nyemah says Villanova and Boston College are among schools he has heard from…Chichester has lot of kids out for football, interest and enthusiasm are good.
